Extended Description: Are you interested in becoming more involved in the community? Are you passionate about health and wellness and hoping to make a difference in the lives of Oberlin residents? Join Live Healthy Oberlin (LHO), a group of local leaders, organizations and residents working to make healthier choices more accessible for the community of Oberlin. Every year, the group leads a variety of projects focused on active living, healthy eating, and chronic disease prevention. A few past LHO projects that you may recognize in the community include: The mid-block crosswalk installed to connect the Plum Creek Trail Exercise equipment outside Oberlin Community Services and Oberlin Depot Oberlin City Schools Safe Routes to School Plan The coalition is facilitated by Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) and meets quarterly at various locations in the community. Live Healthy Oberlin is looking for local residents to join the coalition. Share your ideas, collaborate on projects, and get involved in the community. The next meeting will be held in-person on Wednesday, December 7 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Oberlin Depot (240 S Main St.).
